Question 1

How much water will I actually save?

Accepted Answer

Irrigreen reports homeowners use up to 50% less water than with traditional sprinklers. Savings depend on your yard and how your old system was set up.

Question 2

Does Irrigreen work in Montana winters?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Like any sprinkler system, it needs to be blown out each fall. Irrigreen's app lets us open each zone during the blowout, and it starts back up normally in spring. Top Dog handles both.

Question 3

Can I replace my existing sprinkler system?

Accepted Answer

Often, yes. We check your water supply and existing lines. Many yards can reuse the main line, with far fewer heads than before.

Question 4

Is it good for new sod?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Irrigreen's even coverage helps new sod root evenly, and we can install sod and irrigation as one project.

Question 5

What does my home need?

Accepted Answer

Water pressure of 40–80 PSI, at least 8 gallons per minute of flow, a 1-inch supply line, an outdoor power outlet near the controller and a good Wi-Fi signal. We test all of this during the consultation.

Question 6

What happens if my Wi-Fi goes down?

Accepted Answer

The system keeps watering on its last saved schedule.

Question 7

Does it work on slopes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Watering times can be adjusted to reduce runoff on hills and slopes.

Question 8

How many heads will my yard need?

Accepted Answer

Each head covers up to about 2,800 sq ft. Most medium to large yards use 3–8 Irrigreen zones.

Question 9

What's the warranty?

Accepted Answer

Irrigreen includes a 2-year warranty on heads, controller and cables, with an optional extended warranty.

Question 10

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Every yard is different. Request a free quote and we'll design your system and give you a clear price.
